For distributors, labels and catalog owners

AI Music Detector

Find out whether a track was made with Suno, Udio or another AI generator before it goes into your catalog or out to streaming services. Upload a file and get a probability, the likely generator and a section-by-section read.

Screen a track in three steps

Step 1

Upload the master or a preview

MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG or AIFF, up to 15 minutes. Longer DJ mixes should be split per track.

Step 2

We analyse the audio signal

The full mix is scored for AI artefacts and compared with the fingerprints of each known music generator.

Step 3

Route the result

Clear AI results go to your policy queue, inconclusive ones to a human, clean tracks straight through.

Why distributors screen before delivery

Streaming services are tightening rules on undisclosed AI content, mass uploads and artificial streams. The cheapest place to catch a problem track is before it leaves your pipeline — not after a takedown or a withheld payout.

  • Flag AI-generated uploads before they reach DSPs and store partners.
  • Apply your own disclosure or labelling policy with a consistent score.
  • Spot accounts pushing large volumes of generated tracks.
  • Keep a JSON report per track for your audit trail.

What the detector reports

Every check returns the same structure in the browser and over the API.

AI probability

0–100% for the full mix, mapped to five bands from Human-made to AI-generated.

Likely generator

Scores for Suno, Udio, Mureka, ElevenLabs and more — or "source unclear" when they are close.

Segment timeline

AI music detector FAQ

It analyses the audio signal itself — not the file metadata or tags — and looks for artefacts that music generators leave in the spectrum. It returns an AI probability for the full mix, a score for each known generator, and a probability for each section of the track.

The engine scores tracks against Suno, Udio, Mureka, Riffusion, Seed-Music, MiniMax, ElevenLabs Music, Sonauto, Lyria, Boomy and others. When no generator clearly dominates, the report says the source is unclear instead of forcing a pick.

Yes, over the REST API. Send each track as an https URL with its duration and poll for the result. Billing is 1 credit per started 5 minutes of audio and failed checks are refunded automatically. Batch upload in the dashboard is on the roadmap.

Common re-encodes usually leave enough signal, but heavy processing — pitch-shifting, time-stretching, low bitrates, or mixing AI stems under live recordings — lowers confidence. Those cases tend to land in the "Inconclusive" band and should go to manual review.

No. Files are used only to run the check, deleted within 24 hours, and never used to train models.

The detection engine is evaluated by its developer on large internal test sets, and we are publishing our own benchmark across generators and versions on the accuracy page. Treat any single result as a signal for review, not proof.
